The zoning map change request for 1301 Doc Nichols Road was withdrawn by the applicant.

The zoning map change request for 631 and 633 Clayton Road was approved by a vote of 6-2:

• Ayes: Chair Austin Amandolia, Vice Chair Kimberly Cameron, David Morgan, Anthony Sease, Raymond Trapp, and Stephen J. Valentine,

• Noes: Sarah Chagaris and Carmen Williams

The zoning map change request for Brightleaf North was approved by a vote of 8-1:

• Ayes: Chair Austin Amandolia, Vice Chair Kimberly Cameron, Sarah Chagaris, Scot MacIver, and David Morgan

• Noes: Anthony Sease, Raymond Trapp, Stephen J. Valentine and Carmen Williams

The zoning map change request for Fletcher Crossing failed by a vote of 4-5:

• Ayes: Scot MacIver, David Morgan, Anthony Sease, and Raymond Trapp

• Noes: Chair Austin Amandolia, Vice Chair Kimberly Cameron, Sarah Chagaris, Stephen J. Valentine, and Carmen Williams

The zoning map change request for Lumley Road Multifamily was approved by a vote of 8-1:

• Ayes: Chair Austin Amandolia, Vice Chair Kimberly Cameron, Sarah Chagaris, Scot MacIver, David Morgan, Raymond Trapp, Stephen J. Valentine, and Carmen Williams

• Noes: Anthony Sease

The Planning Commission also discussed the latest updates to the new Comprehensive Plan and was continued to the May 23, 2023 meeting by a vote of 9-0:

• Ayes: Chair Austin Amandolia, Vice Chair Kimberly Cameron, Sarah Chagaris, Scot MacIver, David Morgan, Anthony Sease, Raymond Trapp, Stephen J. Valentine, and Carmen Williams
