Push for High Density Destroying Stream Restorations in SE Durham

In 2019, the Durham Soil and Water Conservation District completed a $400,000 stream restoration project funded through a Clean Water Management Trust Fund Grant (your taxes fund these grants).  The stream improved by this restoration project flows into Falls Lake which is a drinking water source for the City of Raleigh.  The push for high density development in Southeast Durham is now endangering this restoration project.  People demand clean water, where is the political accountability for this destruction?
