Blasting The Same Property Since 2019
I want you all to meet Mrs. Coley. She along with the Ellixson family and others have endured years of blasting on Doc Nichols Road. I went over and personally met her earlier this month. Mr. and Mrs. Coley have been victims of all this mass grading since 2019. November 15, 2019 a large blast caused their well to cave in. Not just their well but 3 other neighbors as well. It cost them $8333 to have a new well dug along with a new pump! The blasting company took NO RESPONSIBILITY!!!! This week her filtration system died due to all the material it has had to filter. Another $2196.00. These are elderly people on a fixed income. It is not right!
Her husband doesn’t come out In the backyard anymore due to all the noise. She told me she wished they would have just left a small buffer. Nope. All the trees were taken down! Blasting has been going on since 2019!
This is how our County Residents are treated!
We ARE NOT against development, IF IT was completed with residents and environmental concerns in place! This is NOT happening. Lick Creek is at the bottom of this hill. No doubt we have tomato soup on its way with the upcoming rain!
The blasting box in the picture was placed there a month ago, yet blasting has been going on since 2019! It is also required in the fire permit. Section 9 Letter A
How many times has the well been tested as required by the Fire Department permit section 9 letter F? …….0!!!! Yes I said 0 times for any of these residents who live in a Mars-like war zone. It is required after a blast within 500 feet of a home WITHIN 24 and 48 hours! Totally UNREAL!
Our county residents are mistreated!
